Greetings To All the Dirigos,

First off, I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Drive safe and stuff your face!!!!

Secondly, the last game of the year (at the New Gloucester Community Fair) was a great success.

The Dirigo's won the game (if memory serves I believe it was 20 to 11) it was not as easy as the score may indicate.

The Red Jackets played it very close and hit the ball very good and thanks to a big inning from us we were able to pull away and win. I think it's safe to say both teams are looking forward to next year.

Thirdly (and lastly), I'm not planning on having any kind of end of year meeting but plan on having a beginning of the year meeting probably some time in March or April of 2008. The rough idea for next year is to make 1 or 2 trips to Massachusetts and then play roughly 6 games vs. The Red Jackets with an end of the year tournament (maybe a best of 3 game series) for the championship - The Kennebec Cup will be up for grabs!!!! As far as I know we will have the following events on the schedule: Bangor Senior Little League World Series, Old Hallowell Days and the New Gloucester Community Fair. Obviously, I'll have more details as the time gets closer.
